Responsibilities

Job Purpose

 

This position is responsible for leading and/or supporting certain post-NTP acquisitions, sales, partnerships, and shareholder equity transactions effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with the Strategic Plan. The position reports to the Chief Investment Officer or an AVP, Investments.

 

As needed and requested, the position will also support execution of other transactions, including project financings and corporate financings.

The role requires negotiation of principal and ancillary transaction documents, as well as coordination with and management of internal stakeholders within Finance and other departments, shareholders, and external stakeholders, including lenders, tax equity investors, third-party consultants, and legal advisors.

  • Guidance and mentorship of junior team members
  • Define and implement continuous improvements to Corporate Development / M&A processes
  • Other general corporate efforts

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

  • Strong knowledge of corporate development, general finance, and economic and strategic analysis.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • (i) the risks and opportunities associated with corporate development transactions;
    • (ii) moving projects through the development, construction, and operations lifecycles;
    • (iii) enterprise-level risks and opportunities.
  • Requires 10+ years of corporate development, M&A, and economic analysis experience; substantial experience executing project- and corporate-level transactions; and a passion for renewable energy.
  • Also requires demonstrated proficiency in leading, developing, and managing people, as well as leveraging personal expertise and experience across teams under direct management but not necessarily under direct reporting lines.

 

The expected starting pay range for this role is $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
