Responsibilities

The Construction Operations Coordinator supports the execution, operational tracking, and visibility of Solect Energy’s commercial solar construction portfolio. This role enables construction leadership by coordinating contractor payment tracking, maintaining construction reporting tools and dashboards, managing operational documentation, and partnering cross-functionally with Project Management, Construction, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics. The position plays a key role in strengthening budget accuracy, operational efficiency, and execution reliability as Solect continues to scale construction capacity to support MW growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construction financial tracking & contractor payment controls: track contractor invoices, verify milestone completion, and support accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Construction reporting & operational visibility: maintain dashboards, project reporting tools, and operational tracking systems to ensure leadership visibility into active work.
  • Operations coordination: support construction leadership with coordination of operational tasks, project data tracking, and execution support.
  • Systems development & process improvement: develop and improve reporting tools, tracking systems, and operational workflows.
  • Documentation & compliance: maintain construction records, project documentation, and financial tracking records.
  • Administrative & operational support: provide day-to-day support to Construction and Project Management teams as needed.

Qualifications

Desired Skills & Experience (Essential Requirements)

  • 3+ years of experience in construction operations, project coordination, project controls, financial tracking, or operational support roles.
  • Experience supporting construction projects, contractor coordination, or operational reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting, tracking, and dashboards) and collaboration tools such as Outlook and Teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with construction management systems, ERP platforms, and/or financial tracking tools.
  • Experience in commercial solar construction, renewable energy, or high-growth construction environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external contractors.

The expected starting pay range for this role is $30.00- $42.00 HRLY USD. This range is an estimate, and base pay may vary above or below these amounts based on several factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees at all levels.
