The Sr. Project Manager position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing resources and activities involved in the installation of commercial PV solar systems. A person in this role must possess excellent customer service skills, strong technical and business acumen, and effective time management skills that will enable success across multiple projects simultaneously. The Sr. Project Manager collaborates with all departments within the organization, conducts project due diligence, plans and manages project scope and timelines, delivers projects within the approved budget, and manages appropriate change orders. Strong financial acumen is essential.
Develops a detailed timeline for all projects and manages all aspects of the project from kickoff to closeout, including overseeing appropriate resources to ensure projects are completed within scheduled timeframes and financial budgets.
Performs regular site visits to monitor project progress. Ensures that all processes related to materials, safety, and job quality are adhered to.
Manages customer communication to ensure an excellent customer experience. Serves as the primary point of contact with the customer regarding project progress. Provides leadership, mentoring, and direction for Site Supervisors.
Oversees subcontractors to achieve agreed-upon timeframes and quality standards.
Supplies timely project administrative information necessary to meet Solect requirements.
Project Budget: developing target construction cost, subcontractor buyouts, weekly budget meetings, and cost tracking.
The Sr. Project Manager must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
The Sr. Project Manager will be required to work on rooftops and at varying heights, in different weather conditions, and in extreme work environments (including heat, snow, wind, rain, etc.). They must also be willing and able to travel to job sites and walk client properties. Occasionally, the Sr. Project Manager will need to lift up to 50 lbs. and routinely perform tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing ladders. Off-hour work (nights/weekends) is sometimes necessary for specific activities like outages and crane work.
The expected starting pay range for this role is $111,000 - $128,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
