Responsibilities

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Testing and Cutover Lead to drive test planning, execution, and cutover activities for our Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM implementation. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in large-scale Oracle Cloud programs, exceptional collaboration skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

 

Test Strategy, Planning & Coordination

  • Prepare and revise test strategy documents, SIT plans, and UAT approaches
  • Define and manage the end-to-end test strategy, including SIT, UAT, Regression, and Parallel Testing
  • Develop and manage test scenarios and scripts with full traceability to requirements
  • Ensure testing tool setup and develop and maintain detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and traceability using tools like Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, and ALM
  • Partner with System Integrators counterparts and business to coordinate and oversee all testing phases (unit, system, integration, user acceptance) though testing cycles
  • Identify and prepare test data and participants, configure test environments, prepare/train participants and manage execution
  • Manage defect triage, resolution, and final reporting of test outcomes

Test (SIT & UAT) Execution Management:

  • Manage SIT and UAT cycles, including environment prep, data conversion extracts/loads/validations
  • Monitor test progress and coordinate issue resolution across technical and functional teams
  • Remediate integration and UAT issues; ensure stakeholder engagement and business participation
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects Define and manage the end-of-the-end test strategy including SIT, UAT, Regression, and Parallel Testing

Deployment / Cutover Planning and Execution

  • Partner with SI counterparts to develop and maintain a comprehensive Deployment and Cutover Plan, detailing all tasks, dependencies, owners, and timelines
  • Identify and coordinate cutover activities across Business, IT, PMO, and third-party teams
  • Lead cutover dress rehearsals and dry runs; refine the cutover plan based on outcomes and lessons learned
  • Define and document contingency plans in collaboration with Pattern workstream leads
  • Work closely with stakeholders to validate cutover readiness and ensure alignment across functional, technical, and data teams
  • Execute and facilitate real-time communication, issue resolution, and escalation management throughout the cutover window
  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership during test execution and cutover periods
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and hypercare planning to ensure a smooth transition to operations

Governance & Communication

  • Communicate testing and cutover status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly
  • Prepare dashboards, defect metrics, and test summary reports for leadership
  • Support transition-to-support and hypercare readiness post go-live
  • Prepare and manage audit readiness for testing documentation for ITGC controls
  • This is a temporary position until the end of March 2026, with option to extend.

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

  • Bachelor's degree in RF Engineering or related field
  • 12+ years of technical implementation experience, Strong expertise in Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud applications
  • Proven experience leading technical teams
  • Deep knowledge of cloud integration patterns
  • Experience with enterprise-scale implementations
  • Technical architecture and design expertise
  • Oracle Cloud certifications
  • Experience with Energy & Utilities and/or Construction industry projects desirable
  • Background in solution architecture, DevOps and CI/CD experience
  • Change management expertise
  • Oracle ERP Cloud architecture expertise, Cloud integration methodologies, API development and web services
  • Experience in Security architecture principles, Data conversion strategies, Performance optimization techniques, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Risk management capabilities, Problem-solving abilities, Client relationship management, Agile development methodologies, Continuous integration practices
  • Working in a SOX regulated environment and experience maintaining audit quality project documentation is required.
  • Established proficiency in a variety of business applications, including but not limited to:
  • High proficiency in Project Management software tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, AzureDevOps, MS Projects and Monday.com required
  • MS Office Applications (Projects, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint) – Proficiency in VBA and Excel formulas preferred.
  • Visio, Lucid or other process mapping software
  • Demonstrated problem solving and communication abilities, including:
  • Managing multiple deliverables with competing needs and resource requirements.
  • Skill and toughness at driving resolutions and decision-making of complex conflicts/problems across a wide range of business stakeholders and interest levels.
    • Excellent organization skills and experience maintaining extensive and auditable documentation as needed
  • Multi-cultural and multi-regional experience is highly preferred.
  • Renewable energy industry experience is desirable.
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. up to 5-10% of time.

 

The expected hourly pay range for this role is $60.00 - $75.00 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education.
