JOB PURPOSE

The Construction Field Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with Solects safety and quality guidelines, as well as monitoring and documenting progress/issues/changes/conditions in coordination with the project management team. Provide technical oversight and enforcement for all construction activities with a rapidly growing company along with QA/QC support and complete safety oversight on jobsites.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • The main initiatives of this role are safety and quality. This role will coordinate multiple trades on complex jobs sites to assure 100% compliance for all health and safety requirements, and all quality control processes.
  • Work closely with project management to prioritize key activities on an extensive pipeline of projects in various stages from design through closeout.
  • Work with Project Management teams in enforcing and ensuring quality project execution, identification of project concerns, and proactively solving problems.
  • Work with HSQE and Project Management teams to ensure all the closing phase requirements are satisfied.
  • Work with Project Management, Engineering, and Preconstruction teams to identify technical areas of concern and associated solutions.
  • Monitor regular and recurring issues / concerns, subsequently developing corrective action plans.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate items that may result in adverse impact to schedule/budget.
  • Diligently document construction activities for comparison against project schedules to ensure on-time completion and delivery.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience

  • Experience in the solar installation industry.
  • 5 years of progressive construction leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to review engineering designs, contracts, scopes of work, and construction documents.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field is preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements

  • Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License, or the ability to pass the exam within one year of hire.
  • BCSP (Board of Certified Safety Professionals) Safety Trained Supervisor for Construction (STSC) Credentials, or equivalent, or the ability to pass the exam within one year of hire.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training.
  • First Aid / CPR Certification.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Salesforce, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Northeast.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Must be available for a flexible work schedule; occasional weekend work and the ability to respond to jobsite emergencies (rare), outside of regular work hours, is required.

 

 

The expected starting pay range for this role is $89,909.00 - $112,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
