Provide legal support to EPC group through project development, procurement, construction, financing and transition to operations, including by drafting, negotiating and administering all applicable major contracts, including Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) / Balance of Plant (BOP) contracts, and Equipment (wind, solar, transformer etc) supply agreements and related Service Agreements. In addition, interface with finance team to assure finaceability of document terms and coordinate with Operations, Insurance and Transaction Support teams to assure inclusion of their considerations. Monitor force majeuere, default and insurance notice communication and coordinate and manage legal issues that arise during and after construction in respect of all EPC related agreements. Provide other transactional legal services through responding to requests wtihin the legal queue, such as task orders and master service agreements. Advise internal parties regarding certain regulatory compliance matters and permitting matters impacting equipment supply and construction. Remain current on relevant legislative, tax, and regulatory issues as it relates to the renewable energy EPC business. Advising the EPC team on claims management and mitigation strategies.
Juris Doctorate and at least 10 years of relevant in house and private practice experience.
The expected starting pay range for this role is $160,000 - $217,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
