Job Purpose

Pattern has invested heavily in SharePoint over the past six years, migrating from an on-premise solution to SharePoint Online while building numerous business facing applications and processes. As Pattern ramps up for growth over the next few years, we are looking to have a full-time expert help transform our user experience by understanding our business and providing innovative solutions.  Specifically, this would require a deep understanding of use cases and business requirements across all facets of Pattern from business development to construction to operations to deliver solutions for our workforce.  Our internal SharePoint adoption has been further accelerated by the recent push toward working from home and this position can be fully remote for the right candidate.


Key Accountabilities

  • Create and extend SharePoint functionality and automated business process improvement solutions using web forms, web parts, metrics, workflows, dashboards, and application technologies
  • Assess user feedback on content and functionality, develop solutions to issues, recommend and implement action plans to effectively meet business needs
  • Develop and maintain metadata term store, catalogs, display templates, custom lists, and content types
  • Manage new feature requests, product backlog, and prioritization process


Education/Experience/Qualification Required

Educational Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics/statistics, physics, or engineering OR demonstration of equivalent work experience is required as a minimum.

Work Experience

  • 7-10+ years of experience with SharePoint development and administration, including on-premise (preferred) and online (required)
  • Advanced knowledge with customizing SharePoint search, enterprise content management, business process, forms and/or business intelligence
  • Experience with Power Automate, LogicApps, or other workflow/process automation software
  • In-depth experience with the Microsoft stack

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong technical capabilities and a creative, curious, self-driven work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with teams

Technical Skills

  • Expert knowledge in creating SharePoint solutions with SharePoint OOB features and customizations
  • Strong application and web programming skills and advance knowledge of web design standards and usability/UX/UI concepts
  • Familiar with data visualization tools such as Power BI preferred
  • Experience with SQL and C# is a plus
  • Demonstrated excellence and ability to learn new programming skills and languages
  • CRM experience (i.e. Dynamics 365, Salesforce) is a plus
  • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, drawings, and documents relating to computers and data systems
