Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Assist the lead project managers on the development of new renewable generation and transmission projects in the United States and Canada.  Additionally, provide able to provide market research in order to assist in the identification and evaluation of investment opportunities for new development projects.

 

Key Reponsibilities

  • Assist internal and external due diligence teams to evaluate potential investment opportunities and with input on the overall deal assessment
  • Assist in preparation of management presentations justifying investment in an opportunity
  • Track project development tasks including permitting, equipment procurement, construction, real estate, feedstock supply, product off-take, electric transmission, schedule, community and government relations, etc
  • Research local and state permitting requirements
  • Help Develop and Track project milestone and critical path activities for project schedules
  • Coordinate and help run team meetings among projects and project stakeholders
  • Support project budgeting and forecasting activitie
  • Support the management of SharePoint and aide in team tracking of priority projects

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

Educational Requirements

  • Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program
  • Having completed 3 years of undergraduate course work or 1 year of MBA course work.

   Required Work Experience

  • Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team player

Technical Skills

  • Facility with Power Point, Word, SharePoint, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
