This position is responsible to direct the timely and accurate analysis and reporting of the company’s complex technical accounting matters as well as to direct the timely and accurate reporting of the company’s financial statements in compliance with the requirements set forth by the U.S. GAAP or as required by debt holders, tax equity investors, and major investors. This role ensures new accounting policies are evaluated and implemented timely and accurately for the Company. All roles and responsibilities of this position are also responsible for the successful communication and issue resolution with external auditors. In addition to direct the accurate and timely accounting evaluation of the Company’s merger and acquisition activities. Additionally, this role will be required to assist in drafting of financial statement disclosure as it relates to certain complex transactions. Key internal relationships will include the Executive Management Team, Operations, Finance, Tax and Legal, and other members of the corporate and operational accounting teams. Externally, key relationships will include third party valuation firms Pattern’s audit and legal firms, and Pattern’s audit committee and board of directors.

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA, and 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience with 5-7 years in a managerial role. The background should include public company experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, full cycle accounting including monthly/quarterly closes, evaluation of technical accounting matters and mergers and acquisitions.
Required Work Experience
The candidate must have recent SEC reporting experience in industry. Experience in the power generation industry is highly desirable. Public accounting experience with a major firm is highly desirable.
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems; ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports are essential.
