    Job Purpose

    The role of the Desktop Support Analyst is to receive, record, and reconcile customer/end user technical questions on use and implementation of computer products in a timely and professional manner. 

    Key Accountabilities

    • Responding for desktop support calls
    • Resolving issues with desktop applications
    • Installing, upgrading, removing desktop applications
    • Installing, upgrading, repairing user workstation
    • Provide hardware and software support to user community
    • Build/upgrade and test new user machines.
    • Understanding Active Directory user accounts, permissions and rights
    • User account / distribution list maintenance.
    • Build PCs and Laptops
    • Thorough knowledge and troubleshooting of PC hardware and peripherals
    • Building standard image for laptops and desktops
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work with various levels of users
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks with little or no assistance


    Educational Requirements

    4 year Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science


    Required Work Experience

    3 years Technical Help Desk experience, some server administration a big plus


    Additional Requirements

    • Excellent communication skills are a must (face-to-face, written, and telephone)
    • Professional self-presentation and positive attitude
    • Committed to excellent user service with excellent follow-through
    • Able to work flexible hours as needed
    • Able to follow direction, work with the team, and work independently
    • Good organizational skills, able to handle projects and prioritize tasks as they present themselves
    • Familiarity troubleshooting Microsoft Office (2013/2016/365) applications (MOUS certification a plus)
    • Network/OS (Windows 2016 Server) and Hardware troubleshooting
    • Remote Access troubleshooting
    • Software/Hardware installation and configuration (LANDesk, SCCM, Sysprep)
    • Experience with Lenovo ThinkPad laptops and Dell OptiPlex desktops
    • Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Management/iPhones
    • MS Outlook installation, configuration, troubleshooting
