This position is responsible to direct the timely and accurate internal corporate reporting of the company's financial position and results. This includes directing a team to manage the internal accounting close process and consolidation of multiple entities, prepare and manage cash accounting, the reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated flux analyses (for blue book, audit purposes, and internal review), prepare internal consolidated financial statements (including the consolidated statements of cash flow), and prepare and report consolidated key financial metrics (CAFD and AEBITDA). This role also directs a team to record the Company’s transfer pricing and internal allocations in accordance with the master services agreement (MSA), record payroll and other equity related transactions. Additionally, this role ensures adherence to SOX controls for all entities and adherence to the company's policies and execution of management initiatives.
Key internal relationships will include the Executive Management Team, Operations, Finance, Tax and Legal, and other members of the corporate and operational accounting teams. Externally, key relationships will include the SEC, OSC, Pattern’s audit and legal firms, including outside SEC and OSC counsel, and Pattern’s audit committee and board of directors.

This role requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA is preferred, and 8-12 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 6-8 in a managerial role. The background should include experience in full cycle accounting including monthly/quarterly closes and financial statement reporting.
Required Work Experience
The candidate must have recent SEC reporting experience in industry. Experience in the power generation industry is highly desirable. Public accounting experience with a major firm is highly desirable.
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems; ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports are essential.
