JOB PURPOSE
The position will lead the Environmental Health Safety and Training department within Pattern Energy to support the global operations and construction teams in achieving our goal of 0 injuries and a culture of protecting each other from harm.

This individual will select, train, develop and lead a team to execute on the following responsibilities:
Experience/Qualifications/Education Required
Required Work Experience
Position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in an EHS role with increasing responsibility, and 3 years of experience managing a team of at least 3 direct reports. The ideal candidate should have experience in utilities or wind energy technology, electrical operations and balance of plant.
Educational Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in safety management, environmental science, industrial hygiene, engineering or other closely related degree. Job experience, professional development and continuing education may be substituted for educational experience.
