Role is assisting lead project managers for developing and/or acquiring new wind and/or solar projects in the United States.  Additionally, provide market research to assist in the identification, evaluation of investment opportunities for new wind and solar development projects in the US energy sector, including wind, solar and electric transmission projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist internal and external due diligence teams to evaluate potential investment opportunities and with input on the overall deal assessment.
  • Assist in preparation of management presentations justifying investment in an opportunity.
  • Track project development tasks including permitting, equipment procurement, construction, real estate, feedstock supply, product off-take, electric transmission, schedule, community and government relations, etc.
  • Research local and state permitting requirements
  • Help Develop and Track project milestone and critical path activities
  • Coordinate and help run team meetings among projects and project stakeholders
  • Support project budgeting activities



Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

Educational Requirements

  • Enrolled in undergraduate program with 3 years completed, with preference for engineering, business or both.

Required Work Experience

  • Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime, as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. 

Technical Skills

  • Facility with Power Point, Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
